Hi, I'm Saffron! I live in Hanworth with my husband, our two children (12 and 10), three cats and a dog. I have been supporting people with their birth preparation, births and the immediate postnatal period since 2015. I believe that a positive birth experience looks very different for everyone and that being supported, listened to and having access to the right information to make your own informed choices about your care makes all the difference. As your doula I can support you both physically and emotionally throughout pregnancy, labour and the early postnatal period. I work together with the rest of your birth team (partners, family members, midwives, doctors) and help you to find the information you need to make informed choices. I work closely with you throughout to insure that you have continuous support from someone that fully understands your plans and expectations, as well as your fears and concerns. I also offered shared care support with my colleagues at Doulas of Kew, Tama and Selina.  This essentially means that you have the support of two doulas for the price of one! We both work with you antenatally and postnatally and then whichever of us is most readily available when you go into labour will be there to support you at your birth. It also means that if labour is long we may be able to swap over , ensuring you always have the support of someone you feel comfortable with at all times.
