I am based in Totnes and cover South Devon. I will sometimes travel a little further.

I co-facilitate The Totnes Pregnancy and Birth Circle which is a birth preparation group and also Radiant Mamas just outside Totnes - a group for women in their third trimester of pregnancy up until their babies are starting to crawl. I offer breast feeding support.

About Me

I moved from London to Totnes with my partner in 1992, and since completing my doula training with Birthing Wisdom in 2009 have been a practicing birth and postnatal doula. Our two sons, now both in their twenties, were born in Devon – one in hospital and one at home in water, and I am happy supporting births at home, in hospital or in a birthing centre. I have experience in water-births, hypno-births, and vaginal births after a previous caesarean birth and preparing for a gentle caesarean birth.

I love the process of getting to know each woman/family, tailoring my support to fit individual needs and circumstances, working together with the aim of enabling the mother and baby to experience an engaged and satisfying birth. It is such a privilege to be invited to companion a woman/family through the enormous transformation of pregnancy and birth.
