About Me
I am a mother of two children, born 1995 and 1999. The love and support that I received from my mother after the birth of my children is something that will never leave me and is something I will always cherish. My mother held my hand and I was able to take the hand of my daughter – love passing from mother to mother to child. The experience of my pregnancy and birth gave me the desire to support women through their experiences.
I have been employed as a band 3 Maternity Support Worker in hospitals, supporting midwives, new mothers and babies. This has given me the experience to understand the concerns a mother may have.
I provide antenatal, birth and postnatal support, equipping families so that they have the confidence for their life together.
I want to be able to support and nurture you, being your voice and advocate. As your Doula, I will listen, so that I can provide the best support and encouragement for you and your baby.
I provide day other services including overnight support, breast and bottle feeding support and developmental baby massage. I also have considerable experience working with twins. I can provide extended support as your baby continues to grow.
