Hi I’m Selina and I live in South West London with my husband and 4 children aged 11, 14, 17 and 24 (a daughter and 3 sons). I have always been interested in pregnancy, birth and babies and since having my own children and supporting some friends through their births I have become passionate about women feeling empowered and supported through their pregnancies, births and beyond. Every woman deserves to be treated with respect, empathy and kindness during their pregnancy and birth. We will always remember how our children came into the world and as a birth doula I want to support women and their partners and family to have a beautiful and positive experience.  I am committed to support you through your own journey to prepare and plan for your baby’s arrival with no agenda or bias of my own. I want to give you the confidence to decide what is right for you and your family.  I will listen to you and support you emotionally and practically through the pregnancy and birth and help you make informed decisions by making sure you have all the information you need. My focus is you and supporting you to have a beautiful birth experience. As a postnatal doula I want to protect and support you, your partner and family through the precious but often delicate early weeks with your newborn.  I want to give you confidence in your abilities to be exactly what your baby needs.  I can provide informational and practical help with establishing breastfeeding if that is your preference, help with other children, around the house, cooking etc Again my focus is always on you and what your needs are.
