I’ve given birth both in the hospital and at home and those experiences, alongside my time supporting other families, have deepened my belief that a positive birth isn't defined by where or how your baby is born, but by how supported, respected and empowered you feel throughout.
For the past 8 years I've worked as a maternity reflexologist, I’ve taught hypnobirthing to hundreds of families and I also host the Birth Tales podcast, where women generously share their birth stories to educate, inspire and reassure others preparing to welcome their own babies.
I believe birth has the potential to be one of the most powerful and transformative days of your life and surrounding yourself with the right support can make all the difference. My role is to provide evidence-based information, practical tools, continuous support and a calm, reassuring presence, so that you can make informed decisions that feel right for you and your family. I aim to hold every family with warmth, compassion and without judgement, whatever their unique preferences or circumstances.
I also love supporting families through the whirlwind weeks after birth, helping parents settle into their new rhythm with their baby. Drawing on my previous career as a retreat chef I enjoy creating nourishing meals, encouraging rest and recovery with postnatal reflexology and helping parents build their confidence and prioritise bonding with their baby in those precious early weeks.

Testimonials
“As our doula, Serena became so much more than an additional pair of hands, she became a friend. Her constant presence, reassurance and wisdom were an absolute lifeline during some difficult times and decisions in the later stages of my pregnancy. When my entire birth plan was derailed, Serena empowered me to listen to my body and advocate for a birth experience that was as close to my original plan as possible, despite the unplanned circumstances. Her unwavering wisdom, patience and generosity throughout my pregnancy and birth made everything so much easier for both my partner and I. She was the best hype women who bought a lot of light and laughter to my very long (but amazing) birth and was always on hand for the most relaxing reflexology treatments.” ~ Tali, birth support
“Serena is simply the best postpartum doula. We booked her after a stressful birth, and from the moment she arrived, she seemed to know exactly how to help me feel calmer, more supported and more rested. Whether it was holding my baby so I could pump, bringing me a cup of tea, running me a bath, encouraging me to rest or simply being there to talk through decisions and questions, Serena has a way of making everything feel more manageable. Her cooking is also incredibly delicious, and we loved having our freezer stocked with her nourishing meals.” ~ Nisha, postnatal support
“Thank you so much for all your support and help, it has been invaluable. Caspar has always been so calm in your presence. We will miss your efficiency, kindness and listening ear (and your dahl!).” ~ Emma, postnatal support
