I’m originally from the beautiful seaside town of Ballito in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and have lived in the UK for many years. I’m now based in Wimbledon, South West London, where I live with my family.
I have always been deeply fascinated by the strength of a woman’s body and the transformative process of birth. Supporting women and their families during pregnancy, labour, and the early days of parenthood is both a privilege and a responsibility that I hold with great care.
I first discovered the role of a doula when I supported a close friend during the birth of her son. Encouraged by the midwife who attended the birth, I began exploring the profession and quickly realised this was the path I was meant to follow — offering continuous, nurturing support during one of life’s most significant transitions.
Training & Experience
I trained as a birth and postnatal doula with Nurturing Birth in 2008 and became recognised with Doula UK in 2009. I continue to follow the Codes of Practice of both organisations and remain committed to ongoing professional development.
Through supporting families, I saw how many new parents were overwhelmed by conflicting feeding advice — whether breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or combination feeding. Wanting to offer clear, skilled and consistent support, I trained with both the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers and La Leche League, before qualifying as an IBCLC Lactation Consultant in 2011.
While I’m passionate about breastfeeding support, I am even more passionate about helping families make informed choices that feel right for them. My role is never to judge, but to support you with respectful guidance so you feel confident and empowered.
How I Can Support You
If you’re expecting a baby — or your baby has recently arrived — congratulations.
This season of life can be joyful, emotional, exciting, and sometimes overwhelming. You do not have to navigate it alone.
I offer steady, reassuring support through pregnancy, birth, feeding challenges, newborn care, recovery, and the transition into parenthood. My aim is to help you feel informed, calm, and cared for every step of the way.
I believe women deserve to feel truly heard, respected, and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond. These experiences are not simply medical events — they are profound life transitions that can shape confidence, wellbeing, and family life for years to come.

I have had the privilege of attending over 1,000 births and supporting countless families through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period.
I also provide overnight postnatal support and am proud to be a Carrot Insurance approved doula.
