Hiya, I’m Sophie. I’m a birth and postnatal doula based on the Wirral, and I’m also a mum to two boys.
I’ve always felt really passionate about birth. After my own experiences, I realised how much difference it can make when someone feels informed, supported and confident in their choices. Feeling listened to and having someone in your corner can mean so much.
That’s why I decided to train as a doula. I wanted to offer the kind of support I wish more women had. I’m here to share honest, evidence-based information, answer your questions and be a steady presence through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
Whether you’re planning a home birth, want an epidural, considering a caesarean or simply don’t know what you want yet, I’m here for you. There’s no right or wrong way to give birth, and every woman deserves to feel heard, respected and supported in the choices she makes.
My approach is fierce advocacy, while offering empathy, compassion and non-judgemental support throughout your journey. I’m here to support you through it all, whether that means helping you work through your options, being there during birth or offering support once your baby is here.
If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to hear about you, your pregnancy and what you’re hoping for from your birth. There’s no pressure or commitment, just a chat. My DMs are always open, so pop in and say hi.
doula love,
Sophie x
