I am a pregnancy, birth and postpartum doula working in and around London, Herts, Essex and the surrounding areas, offering in-person and online support.  

So... 

We can’t control everything in life...especially things involving other human beings. And from the moment we conceive a child, we are guardians of a force of nature, that try as we might, will always do their own thing and find their own way! But…we as parents are there to guide, support and love, and the better educated we are, informed and supported, the better equipped we are to make choices that can help make a situation as positive and smooth as can be, and to rise to any challenges it brings. 

As a doula, I believe this is my role. To help you understand and enjoy your pregnancy and to prepare you as fully as possible for the arrival of the little person inside you, however they decide to make an appearance. I believe whole heartedly in living life to the full and making the best of what you've got, and this is reflected in my approach as a doula and as a mother. 

I believe in bringing a positive approach to even the most challenging situation and in supporting a woman during pregnancy, birth to work with her body and mind to achieve what can be the most empowering experience of her life: motherhood. 

Through positive thinking, movement, exercise and constant support, I believe a happy, healthy pregnancy and labour is very achievable. By availing you of your rights and choices, it will be my pleasure and privilege to guide you through your journey to birth, working if you wish, with your partner and wider family. 

As a doula, I will support, facilitate, care and inform. I make no judgment whatsoever about how you choose to birth and feed your baby, only to support you through those choices, advocating where needed, and providing options, encouragement and back up plans! 

I can offer antenatal and postnatal care, birth attendance, all of the above or some and all the prices on my website www.yourlondondoula.co.uk are open to negotiation within a package. Just get in touch and ask1    

I have worked in both the state and private sector, with working and with stay-home mums, with women in extreme hardship and also with high networth women, all from every walk of life, but throughout, my only aim is to provide continuity of care, help you achieve the birth you want and to equip you for labour, childbirth and motherhood with confidence and grace.
