Hi, I’m Tiffy. I’m a mother of two wonderful teenagers and a grandmother to two little ones under five. With over 25 years of experience in teaching yoga, specialising in women’s health, and a deeply personal journey through motherhood, I understand how profoundly transformative becoming a mother is. It’s a time of immense adjustment, joy, and vulnerability, and you deserve to feel supported, nurtured, and cared for as you navigate this new chapter.
I believe the early days of parenting should be a time when you feel truly held and seen. My role is to help you feel calm, confident, and cared for - emotionally, physically, and practically - so you can embrace the unfolding journey of becoming a mother.
As a certified postnatal doula with Younique Postnatal, I work collaboratively and sensitively, supporting you in discovering exactly what you need on any given day. Sometimes, a simple reminder that your feelings are valid and normal is enough. Other times, a gentle suggestion or a fresh perspective can bring reassurance and clarity.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of mothers as a perinatal yoga teacher, holding space for their stories, emotions, and reflections to unfold. I truly believe there’s no single “right” way to parent - only the way that feels right for you. As your supporter, my role is to help you gently unhook from external pressures, allowing you to tune in to your instincts and build confidence in your own path, whether this is your first or your third baby.
With a background in yoga therapy and women’s health, I take a holistic approach to postpartum care. I specialise in pregnancy and postnatal yoga, menopause yoga, and pelvic floor health and, if it feels right for you, I can offer tailored practices to support your postpartum healing and help you reconnect with your inner groundedness and resilience – these may include restorative movement, breathwork, pelvic floor awareness, as well as gentle mum-and-baby yoga or baby massage to foster connection and relaxation.
As someone with autism in my own family, I’m neurodiversity-aware and committed to offering sensitive, inclusive support for all parenting experiences.
I’m currently deepening my knowledge by training as an Infant Feeding Support Doula, to offer even more informed and inclusive support around feeding.
When I’m not supporting new mums, you’ll likely find me cold water swimming, growing veggies on my allotment, experimenting in the kitchen, making pottery or spending time with my family. I also run a monthly New Mama Nurture Workshop at Oru, my local yoga studio - a cosy space where new mums can rest, connect, and explore tools for healing and self-care.
