I am Valentine, I am French and I chose to live in Walthamstow, where busy London life can mix with nature, with the Wetlands and Epping Forest at my doorstep.
I am a mother and love to take care of my 2 year old daughter.
I trained as a doula and started supporting families antenatally, in labour and postpartum in 2024. I also work with two charities who support pregnant women in vulnerable situations and pregnant asylum seekers across London. I support women and pregnant people across the whole of London.
I am a birth nerd. I've always been passionate about this topic. I love the science behind it, the physiology, all the details. I love to hear birth experiences first hand and also listen to a lot of birth podcasts, read birth-y books and spend too much of my time researching birth online.
I am a doula because I want every woman and birthing person to have a positive, embodied experience when bringing a new life to the world. I want every family to enter their journey into parenthood in the best possible way. I believe positive experiences happen when women's and birthing people's choices are respected throughout pregnancy and labour. I believe that this comes with preparation, information and great care. I find that postpartum is a tender yet disregarded time in a woman's and family's life and I believe this should change. I believe that mothers and parents are raising the future of humanity. To me, holding mothers and parents is essential to changing society for the better.
A non-exhaustive list of topics I cover: physiological pain relief, birth physiology, birth positions, rebozo, hypnobirthing, personalised hypnobirthing scripts, relaxation methods, epidural, induction, caesarean birth, assisted birth, advocacy in pregnancy and birth, breastfeeding physiology, breastfeeding tips and tricks, infant feeding, safe sleeping, post-partum plans, and so much more. I love hearing from my clients and always do my best to provide non-judgmental, evidence-based information for them to make informed decisions about their journey into parenthood.
Outside of my doula life, I also have a degree in Marketing with 10 years experience as a digital marketer. I love animals, we have 2 cats at home who are very much part of the family. I love being outdoors no matter the weather. I love taking care of my daughter and my love language is quality time. I love knitting and watching good movies, when I get a chance!

As I always say - it's my absolute pleasure, thank you to all of my clients for allowing me into their birthing space.
