TESTIMONIALS:
"We feel very lucky to have found Victoria. She has been such a huge support and a joy to be around. She is a great listener and tailors her support to our specific needs. She is always on hand to answer questions and make suggestions. She is very kind and boosts my confidence and reassures me that my baby is thriving. She is very knowledgeable and puts my mind at ease very quickly when I have concerns or am unsure what to do. Victoria is also amazing with our baby!"
"Nothing is too much or too personal to ask for Vicky’s insight on. She’s made me feel safe as a new mum to be vulnerable and to be open about physical struggles I’ve had, both with breastfeeding and c section recovery. She put me at ease immediately. She takes on conversations others might find awkward such as around bleeding or constipation without embarrassment and has created a safe space for me to talk about how I feel about my postpartum body and recovery. I value these conversations with her enormously."
What I can offer you:
As a dedicated birth and postnatal doula, I offer unwavering emotional and physical support to women and their families during the incredible journey of childbirth and the early postpartum period. I provide breastfeeding guidance, ensuring new mothers feel confident and empowered in their feeding choices and reach their personal feeding goals. With a wealth of experience and a strong network of professionals to call upon, I help navigate challenges, offer reassurance, and create a nurturing environment. With this incredible network, I can guide you and your family to the right resources and information, ensuring you receive the support and care you need.
My training with Developing Doulas in birth and postnatal support was an incredibly enriching experience, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to support families through this transformative time. I have also completed the ABM (Association of Breastfeeding Mothers) foundation course, enabling me to provide informed and compassionate support to mothers who choose to breastfeed. In addition, I hold a valid paediatric first aid certification (2024–2027) and an enhanced DBS certificate, reflecting my commitment to safety and care.
Beyond my training, I actively volunteer at my children’s primary school and dedicate time each week to a breastfeeding café, where I support families with all aspects of infant feeding. Through this work, I have had the privilege of helping many parents achieve their feeding goals, ensuring they feel empowered and supported every step of the way.
With a significant passion for health and wellbeing, I am currently working through a nutrition course to educate myself and better support mothers during pregnancy and postpartum to ensure they are well nourished to look after themselves and in turn, their babies.
I have my own two beautiful daughters and have been married since 2015. I grew up on the Isle of Wight before moving to London, and I've now lived in the Redhill and Reigate area for the past 14 years.
Before I became a doula, I worked in various sales and marketing roles for an FMCG company for 14 years. However, after having my two children, my priorities and passions shifted significantly. I sought something more authentic to who I am, what I believe in, and where I see myself making a massive difference to women and their families over the next 20-30+ years.
If you'd like to have an informal chat, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call where I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to reach out so we can discuss the support you're looking for and see if I'm the right doula for you.
Warmest Wishes,
Doula love, Victoria
