Hi, I’m Zoe – an autistic mother, wife, baker, creator, research scientist, and full spectrum doula offering pregnancy and postpartum support across the North East and North Yorkshire.
I run Postpartum Matters CIC, a non-profit organisation providing holistic and inclusive doula support and pregnancy care. I work with women and birthing people of all ages through tailored, one-to-one doula services, as well as via my free-to-access community wellbeing space – Women's Health Hartlepool.
My lived experience of birthing my own two children – with each pregnancy and labour being unique, challenging, and transformational – drives my deep belief in the power of being supported throughout the journey into parenthood. As a doula, my role is to walk alongside you through pregnancy, birth and the early postpartum period. I can hold space, advocate for you, attend antenatal appointments, and help you plan for a birth experience that feels right for you.
🌿 My Full Doula Support Package – £1400 or 10 payments of £140 (flexible)
This includes:
✨ Four antenatal sessions covering:
- Antenatal education
- Birth preparation and birth biomechanics
- Preparation for newborn care, including infant feeding education
- Emotional support, listening, and advocacy – whatever you need to feel confident and empowered.
✨ Rebozo hire from our first session through to postpartum – with guidance on how to use it effectively for pregnancy, labour and recovery.
✨ Phone support from the moment you book until 40 days postpartum.
✨ On-call birth support from 38 weeks – I’ll be there when you need me, wherever you’re birthing, across the North East or North Yorkshire.
✨ Four postnatal sessions, used however you need – from Closing the Bones, to emotional debriefs, to light housework or cooking. Whatever helps you and your family feel held.

- Free sling hire for 40 days postpartum
- A growing library of books and resources
"Zoe was a pure blessing during my pregnancy and labour. As anxious first-time parents, we truly needed her calm, supportive presence. She had answers to all our questions and gave us the confidence to make informed choices."
