I am a mother of four children who were born at home. I have been attending births since 2001, so I am amongst the first doulas who worked in London. Over the years I have supported hundreds of women through pregnancy, birth, or post natally, and so I have experience in offering support through many different situations . What is important to me is to offer you the right support and environment for your birth to be an experience which will empower you for years to come, whichever way it transpires. I am a great believer in playing the game well, whatever cards were dealt to you. I have a lot of experience supporting breastfeeding women, and have often been able to solve complex breastfeeding issues. The strong faith in birth and in women's ability is what carries me forward. I believe every woman deserves to have loving support, and this is what I endeavour to provide. In my personal life, I have a strong connection with men, as I grew up with brothers, being the mother of two men, and, as well as being married to one,  have close male friends. This gives me a powerful insight into the challenge that men face during their child's birth. I hope to not only provide them with support during this special time, but also highlight their abilities and strengths. In this way, the birth may become a strong connection point for both partners, one which will strengthen your relationship and support love and closeness.
