I'm Holly. I am a mother of 3, living in East Sussex.
I had my first child in 2012 and my third in 2020. Each was an incredibly different experience. I have spent 15 years both volunteering and working with neurodiverse children and adults. I have always been fascinated by pregnancy, birth and the newborn journey, but it was after my own experiences of childbirth that I started to look into becoming a doula.
I understand how important support, compassion and knowledge is throughout the pregnancy and birth journey, and those early moments, whether it's your first or subsequent baby or babies. I believe that every family should feel safe, supported and empowered through the transition and to make the most of that precious time.
Outside of being a doula, I enjoy spending time with my own family outdoors, and being creative, especially embroidery and crochet.
I am DBS checked, insured and hold a full clean driving licence. I am certified though Nurturing Birth and have completed training in Paediatric First Aid, the infant microbiome, and Babyem perinatal mental heath and birth trauma. I also have experience supporting others with epilepsy and diabetes, and I have a basic understanding of Makaton and British Sign Language.
