Hello, & congratulations on your journey to parenthood! I’m a mum to two wonderful daughters, based in Wellington, Somerset, & I am dedicated to supporting you during this transformative time. My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental & tailored to your unique needs & preferences.
As a birth doula, I provide emotional, physical & informative support to help you feel empowered & confident throughout your pregnancy, labour & birth. Whether you’re planning to have your baby at home, at a birth centre or on labour ward, I’ll be by your side every step of the way, offering reassurance & practical guidance. Together we’ll create a strong relationship, work through a comprehensive antenatal education package & understand your boundaries & thresholds, ensuring informed consent & evidence based 1:1 care. We can also prepare your birth preferences, including locations, options & different birth scenarios so that we can have plans A,B,C & D ready to go. I’ll be ensuring your wishes are heard, you consent to the care you receive & you feel supported. We will also discuss a postnatal plan & cover feeding education, alongside being a sounding board for all those questions & thoughts that pop up during pregnancy.
In my role as a postnatal doula & Breastfeeding Peer Support, I focus on nurturing you as you adjust to life with a new baby. From practical assistance with feeding, newborn care & household chores to emotional support during those early, sleep-deprived weeks, I’m here to ease the transition & help you find your rhythm as a family. I am also very happy to answer all those middle of the night “Is this normal…?!” questions that having a new baby can bring up.
My goal is to create a calm, positive environment where you, your partner & your family feel supported, heard & respected. Let’s work together to make your birth & postnatal experience one that you’ll look back on with joy & confidence.
I look forward to connecting with you!
