As your Postnatal Doula I offer support to allow you to parent in the way you and your family would like, I have a calm manner and am there to support you rather than "tell you" what needs to be done. Some of the ways you may like me to support you are:
- Emotional support and a listening ear
- Practical help around the home
- Looking after older children
- Feeding Support
- Giving you time and space to sleep, rest or take time out
- Shopping
- Cooking meals
- Housework - particularly helping with the extra washing!
I am a qualified breastfeeding counsellor and have worked at two hospitals as part of the Infant feeding team supporting parents however they are feeding their babies.
I am flexible with the hours I work and will do anything from 3 hours to a full day. We can look at hours and days to suit you and your family. Personally, I moved to Chichester ten years ago to be near the sea and to give my children the chance to grow up in the outdoors of West Sussex.
