Resolution Centre

The Resolution process is managed by a dedicated admin person, who will liaise with the Resolution Panel and will inform you of the outcome once the panel has reached an agreement.

If a breach of our Code of Conduct is reported a panel of experienced Doula UK doulas will investigate further.

What the Resolution Centre will investigate:

What the Resolution Centre will not investigate: 

  • Internal complaints between doulas – except in cases of a breach of the Code of Conduct or Misconduct policies.

  • Financial disputes

  • Legal proceedings or disputes

If your complaint is not covered in the above you may find help from the following;

  • The Citizens Advice Bureaux

  • The Small Claims Court

Resolution Panel and Timeframe

The resolution panel is made up of three experienced Doula UK members. Depending on the nature of the reported breach of conduct, the panel may also include one independent person and one Doula UK Director. The names of those involved in the incident will not be revealed to the panel.

We aim to provide an outcome within 8 working weeks of the receipt of the form.
