To help raise the profile of doulas and support Doula UK we encourage members to:
Conduct all social media business accounts with professionalism
Spread positivity about doula support and Doula UK
Follow Doula UK on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and Threads
Like and share Doula UK posts
Like and share articles about doulas and Doula UK generated by a third party (eg a Guardian article about the benefits of doulas)
Use social media to promote your own doula business. Tag @DoulaUK and we will share or like where we can
Get involved with creating and sharing posts surrounding particular events for example on #WorldDoulaWeek or promoting a Doula UK fundraising event for the Access Fund
Misconduct
Members agree that they will not use social media in the following ways:
Breach client confidentiality
Use hate speech
Disparage or defame Doula UK or any of its members
Discuss or share any non-public or confidential information about Doula UK
Post any content that looks, feels or sounds like or can be mistaken for an official Doula UK statement
Forward or share any internal communications, including emails, enews or posts from the closed facebook group
If you are concerned that one of our members has breached our social media policy please refer to our Resolution process. For any complaints about Doula UK we ask that you respectfully contact the Team by email to discuss.
