“Doula UK confirmed this month that we are welcoming male members, provided they have fulfilled the requirements all our doulas must meet on joining.
Ours is a growing organisation centred on inclusiveness, respect and choice and we are pleased that, if it is right for them, new families will be able to choose the support of a male doula from amongst our membership.
As always, new members go through a reflective process of mentoring and continued learning and development to become recognised members of the largest network of doulas in the UK.
