About Me
Returning to Cornwall in early 2018, was a special time for me and my family, as my three children were born here.
I have felt drawn to birth work for many years and completed my initial doula training course in May 2016. It was an incredible experience which confirmed my feelings that every mother should feel informed, empowered and supported during their pregnancy, birth and the precious days and weeks following the arrival of their baby.
As a doula I wish to support women throughout their journey into motherhood. As a starting point we would have an initial meeting to see what bond we form and whether we are right to work together. There is no charge for this meeting as I believe the most important thing is for you to feel you have the right people around you at this time. If we both agree I would then suggest a couple of meetings during pregnancy, attendance at the birth and a further visit after birth. Contact would by no means be limited to these meetings and I would of course be available to you in between times as and when required. It is important to tailor my attendance to each family’s requirements and we can discuss and agree what would serve you best.
