About Me
I’m Hannah birth and postnatal doula, my role as a doula is to support you and your family enabling you to have the positive experience that everyone deserves. Support from myself as your doula can come in many forms; emotional, physical, sign posting and advocacy. I will help protect your space to assist you in having the birth and postnatal period you desire. By protecting the labour and baby bubble that is such a precious time allowing you to adjust to the changes that take place and what will be the new dynamic of your family.
I took on a different career path at university within the food industry but couldn’t ignore the inner doula within me. I continued to read, watch and research everything birth and postnatal related. With me as your doula you can expect freshly cooked food to support your mental and physical well being. I have always had a passion for food as well as birth and combing the two brings me great joy. And often will feature my home grown fruit and vegetables.
Friends came to me for support and advice, and after hearing too many of their traumatic and difficult birth and postnatal stories led me to Doulaing as I want to give that support further. I trained with Developing Doulas in February 2022. I am currently a mentored birth and postnatal doula.
I am currently slowly but surely self renovating our pre 1790’s home along with our two fur babies; rescue cats Maggie and Cleo.
