Welcome to my profile and congratulations on your pregnancy!

A little bit about me: I have four children and I decided to train as a doula in 2011 after having my first baby. I came to conclusion that continuity of care, commitment and someone else’s non judgmental input would have made my experience so much better and easier therefore my job as a doula came to me very easily and naturally.

I believe women benefit a lot from having a doula (and so do the statistics) even by just having a much more positive birth by having more knowledge, continuity of care and knowing someone is there for them all the way through 24/7.

I’m open to ALL. Love, empathy, openness are very important to me when I work with women (and their partners) as well as in daily life. Please if you feel vulnerable in any way and feel this is not an affordable service do contact me and I’ll do my best to provide you with support or guide you to people/charities/places that can help.

I have great interest in natural healing (herbs, tinctures, essential oils), breastfeeding, VBACS (vaginal birth after cesarean), scar tissue work, IVF, twins, breech births,women’s health, healthy eating and postnatal support (see my qualifications above).

As well as baby massage and healing water baths treatments (Womb to World bath)

I’ve worked a lot with mums over 40, vulnerable mamas, ethnic minorities,gestational diabetes, previous traumatic births but also mums to be who want minimal or no intervention at all. 

Most of my clients try to birth their babies without any drugs using hypnobirthing, massage and essential oils during their birth. However I’m always flexible and open and have experienced different types of birth including elective cesareans, labours with epidurals, induction and premature births.

I believe one of my strongest points is my intuition to read the situation without words being spoken, to be able to tune into woman’s body language and facial expressions without her saying anything and subsequently adapting my approach and sharing it with the health professionals around her to be able to accommodate her in the best possible way. I’m described as peaceful and calm.

I’ve experienced myself more than 200 births now and supported many parents postnatally and had my own babies in all settings (labour ward, detached birth centre and home). I absolutely love homebirths and have my own pool for clients.

For women interested in postnatal support I’m very flexible and can help with everything related to baby’s feeding, care, sleeping patterns but also cooking very healthy yet wholesome postpartum food for the whole family, looking after other children, making sure you get as much emotional and practical support as possible. I do believe in natural healing using belly binding, mizan massage and herbal teas as well as advice on pelvic floors to avoid prolapse and leakage.

I offer a choice of three main birth packages and three postnatal packages (see my website).
