Congratulations on the news of your pregnancy!
I am an experienced birth and postnatal doula and have a wide range of knowledge related to fertility issues, antenatal preparation, birth support and postnatal help, always making sure you get a personalised and holistic care.
My decision of becoming a doula came after my first birth which was “natural” but nowhere near empowering. I didn’t have enough knowledge or understanding and felt that things could have been different if only I had been more prepared during pregnancy and if I had someone experienced to help and advocate for me as well as remind me of my options.
I now have four children and managed to get two pain free powerful births and would love to make every woman feel as empowered as I felt.Supporting ladies with a verity of births: vaginal , c-sections, home, breech , vaginal births after caesareans (VBAC) in hospitals, birth centres and in their own homes and can provide references upon request.
I’m very determined but gentle at the same time. Compassionate, trustworthy and patient as well as well organised (a must with four children). I love being healthy and exercise and have lost 24 kg over 2 years (being pregnant during that period as well). This has showed me how mind and body work perfectly together and how strong women can be.
I speak three languages : English, French and Polish basic Spanish.
I’m passionate about pregnancy, childbirth and everything surrounding this subject, having special interests in aromatherapy (I’m qualified to use 5 essential oils during pregnancy and labour as well as postnatally in different ways),homeopathy and natural healing, working closely with an acupuncturist, a naturopath and a birth photographer based in Central London.
I provide support within the M25.
My most popular birth package is:
-2 antenatal appointments (discussing previous births if applicable, helping you release your fears, answer any questions, talk to partner and support him as well, draw a birth plan, discuss your needs and provide you with useful information like labour positions and how to recover faster after birth).
-on call from 38-42 weeks to be ready to attend your birth any time of day or night and remain with you from when you need me until you settle well with your baby
– 1 postnatal visit to do a birth debrief give you any advice if needed, keep you company and provide some help and rest as well as help around the house light cooking, light shopping…
This package includes the use of TENS machine during labour, birthing pool (if you go for a homebirth), essential oils and massage during labour as well as the use of the helios childbirth homeopathy kit.
Postnatally I offer advice on how to care for newborns (if needed) feeding, bath time, how to use a wrap/sling/carrier, help with other children, light cooking (I specialise in ayjverdic diet, but can also cater for vegetarians and vegans) and light cleaning, looking after mum and allowing her to have some much needed rest. As an experienced mother I know what it means and can provide mums with what they need. I also provide nutritional postnatal advice and can get hold of special postnatal foods that will help mum feeling more energy and satisfaction as well as helping her digestive system getting back to normal again as well as postnatal massages.
Have worked with a couple of ladies who choose to totally rest postnatally, I can help prepare for such a retreat where the focus is on mother and baby, healthy nutrition and getting to know your baby. I can take care of other siblings and other family obligations to make sure mum is resting as much as possible.
I sell and offer advice on the bengkung wrapping postnatally, traditional foods for and after childbirth. I also offer herbs for healing, tinctures and natural organic teas known to help with breastfeeding and postnatal recovery.
Alternatively I can offer only antenatal visits if you do not need a doula to discuss your fears, debrief previous births/ pregnancies if applicable, discuss your options: pain relief, where to give birth, what to expect, how to achieve an empowering birth and help you draw a birth plan.
I offer mizan massage which can be used in non pregnant women as well as during pregnancy and postnatally.
- MAT increases the circulation to reproductive organs, i.e. the uterus, the ovaries and the fallopian tubes, which helps to promote hormonal balance
- It helps to reposition a misaligned uterus, which itself helps to increase circulation of blood, lymph, nervous system and qi
- It helps to cleanse the body of any toxic build up from congested circulatory systems, helps to break down scar tissue
- Helps the digestive system to be more efficient which then removes and prevents toxic build up in the body and enhances the immune system
- Helps women to connect with their wombspace
I am also a qualified KG hypnobirthing teacher and offer group/one to one hypnobirthing classes in conjunction to my doula services or on it’s own.
Hypnobirthing is logical, simple, and practical and is now a well-known, accepted and effective form of antenatal preparation. While other antenatal classes focus on the physical and practical preparation for birth, hypnobirthing is unique because it also supports your emotional preparation for birth.
Hypnobirthing helps you release your fears and gives you the tools so that your body can give birth effectively and comfortably in the way that it was designed to. The combination of easy to learn methods of breathing, deep relaxation and visualisation, combined with positive thought and language, help to reduce stress, fatigue, anxiety and fear and, as a result, reduce pain.
Hypnobirthing does not promise a perfect outcome or to totally eliminate discomfort, but it does empower you to be calm, make informed choices and enjoy a positive birthing experience.
THE BENEFITS OF HYPNOBIRTHING FOR YOU AND YOUR BABY ARE:
– You are likely to experience a gentle, calm and more comfortable (sometimes pain-free) birth.
– Your baby will arrive in a calm and relaxed environment, alert and ready to bond with you as nature intended.
– The length of labour is often much shorter for hypnobirthing mothers.
– Less drugs and medical interventions are needed for hypnobirthing births, allowing your baby to develop naturally and easily after they are born.
– Mothers often bounce back quicker after a hypnobirthing birth as the physical impact of giving birth is reduced.
– Your birth partner will learn how to support you and will have a central and active role in your birth. A truly shared and loving experience.
The benefits to you are obvious, but the long-term benefits to your baby cannot be over-estimated. I often hear stories of hypnobirthing babies being calm, content and sleeping well.
For places and availability please contact me directly. Classes are done at the comfort of your own home/workplace or in a general venue for group classes. Hypnobirthing classes are a total of 10 hours including all materials.
If you have any other special requests please let me know I am quite flexible.

Hope to hear from you soon 🙂
