About Me

Hi, I am the Founder of Seva Doulas, offering support in West London and surrounding areas. I decided to become a doula and set up shortly after giving birth to my fourth baby, at the beginning of lockdown 1.0, at home. Piece of cake! 

I have four beautiful boys each with their own unique characters and birth stories. The home birth of my fourth son is however the driving force behind my work as it made me realise how to truly, deeply connect with my body and bring my baby earthside. 

I left my career in early years to share my knowledge and experience to help support birthing people as they journey through matrescence, whether they are first-time mothers or already blessed with children. I sought training with the wonderful Kicki Hansard and am now en route to becoming accredited. 

I place utmost importance on mothering the mother so she can mother her baby. I seek guidance from the golden healing traditions and practices of my Indian ancestors and thank them for enabling me to adopt them in my work to care and support women during pregnancy, birth and their fourth trimester – a time so tender and sacred. 

I will equip you with information so you are able to make informed choices that are the best for you from the start. I have undertaken further training with Abuela Doulas, The Wise Hippo Hypnobirthing Programme, and the 3-step rewind technique with Birthing Awareness. In the near future I will have completed my core strengthening training with the InCORE Method by Munira Hudani, breastfeeding training with The Newborn Mothers Collective, Aquatic Baby Nurture and birth photography training with Birth Becomes You.
