About Me

I was born in 1964 in the north of England and moved to the south, for work, when I was 17 years old. I married my Italian husband Enzo when I was 23 and we had the first of 4 children that same year. We have now been married for over 30 years, have 2 sons and 2 daughters and are very lucky to have a wonderful grandson and grandaughter who live near us. Being a Doula has been a passion of mine for over 15 years, so I was very excited at the end of 2014 when the opportunity arose to eventually start my doula journey. I have always been a very nurturing person, passionate about pregnancy and birth and I adore babies. My other loves are dancing, summers on the beach and socialising with friends, but I’m never happier than when I have all of my children back together, for a big family meal.

I have a wealth of personal experience, having had 4 children of my own and I have helped and supported many friends during pregnancy and with their babies. I feel extremely blessed to have experienced my eldest daughter’s transition into motherhood, supporting her throughout her pregnancy, during labour and postnatally.

I am committed to providing continous physical, emotional and practical support, before, during and after childbirth. Helping you to stay Calm, Comfortable and Confident. To be informed and prepared and most importantly to have trust in yourself as a birthing women and a new mother.
