Postnatal (Recognised since July 2015)
Lives in: Twickenham TW1
Local info and availability:
I live in East Twickenham with my husband and two daughters. I worked as a physiotherapist before having children and since then I have also worked as a nanny. I am interested in health and fitness and enjoy running, cycling, cooking, reading and travelling.
I am keen to help provide support to new mothers so that they can really enjoy the precious time when their babies are small. I was very lucky to have a supportive network of family and friends around when my children were born. However I appreciate how difficult it can be for women who don’t have their family around to help them in the early days.
As a postnatal Doula I will listen to any worries that you may have and offer any support that I can. I can help care for your baby (or babies) to give you time to rest, shower or eat. I am also happy to look after older children and help with household chores like cooking, tidying and laundry. I can also accompany you to appointments, go shopping for you, run errands, provide information and signpost to others for further support if necessary.
‘Jenny has really helped me as a new mum, she’s provided emotional and physical support throughout challenging times. She’s extremely thoughtful and remembers details that I wouldn’t have thought of, but is never obtrusive. She’s also lots of fun to be around as she has a lovely sense of humour.’ – KC, Richmond.
‘Jenny was lovely, helpful, easy to get on with and made an effort to get to know us as a family. I would ask for her again.’ – AP, Twickenham.
