About Me
Growing up in a big family, I was raised with an ease about birth and the chaos of parenting that I’ve only come to realise as the huge gift it was since starting my own family 10 years ago. Thank you, Mum!
I am guessing like me, you believe in the huge value of continuity of care, in finding the right person to bring emotional and practical support to help have a positive birth experience – wherever and however you choose that to be. If you want some happy, positive energy in your team, maybe I can help.
I came to this work because I believe passionately in our ability to grow and birth our babies. No one knows you, your body and your baby better than you. But sometimes we need encouragement to believe that and the right support. Mothers deserve to be mothered too. We need a village, but sometimes in cities that means creating our own.
I believe that no matter what kind of birth you have, what matters most is that you feel in control, that you feel loved and supported with calm, positive energy and able to make informed choices that are right for you and your baby.
As a mentored Doula, I provide the emotional and physical support you need and deserve, during pregnancy, birth and beyond, but with the added bonus of an experienced doula coaching me.
