About Me
I completed my doula training with the Red Tent Doulas after finding myself suggesting to every new hypnobirthing client that they hire a doula. Despite having been a birth partner for people in the past, since completing my training I have been able to more confidently offer the support as a doula. I am co-founder of Fertility2Birth. Fertility2Birth provides help to those struggling to conceive and those already pregnant to have amazing birth experiences. I am also author of the book Hypnobirth Yourself – a complete hypnobirthing course in a book. The HypnoBirth programme was written after working with lots of pregnant mums. My colleague and I felt that we should write a formal process that could be tailored to the individual. The HypnoBirth classes are a fantastic way for soon to be mums to learn how to have a birth that is as natural as possible so that all feelings of intensity are managable. I have been a hypnotherapist for 11 years and work from my busy practices in Surrey & London. I have a Diploma in Hypnotherapy with Psychotherapy and Advanced Hypno-Analysis having trained at the Essex Institute under the supervision of the renowned therapist Terrence Watts. I also have an MSc in Consciousness, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology. This is highly relevant and I bring the philosophies, alongside my intuition into much of my work. I am registered by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the UK regulator for complementary healthcare. Practitioners registered with the CNHC meet national occupational standards and abide by a rigorous code of conduct, performance and ethics. Aside from hypnotherapy I have a BA HONS degree in Financial Economics and have worked within a leading investment bank. I combine my experience of a high pressured stressful environment with my qualifications and relevant experience when working within the birthing environment.
