About Me

To say that I am fascinated with the power of the human body during pregnancy and birth would be an understatement. To be able to offer support to your natural capabilities is a rewarding and humbling experience for me.

My Philosophy

I believe that enjoying a natural pregnancy and birth requires a holistic approach…mind, body & spirit:

– It’s about what and how you think… “I know my body is strong enough and wise enough to carry and deliver this baby.”

– It’s about how you prepare… “I am aware of birthing techniques available to me and have the support I need in place.”

– It’s about how you feel… “I am excited and relaxed about bringing new life into the world and know that I have nothing to fear.”

My Approach

As a holistic therapist and doula, I work to support you on each of these levels (mind, body & spirit) by helping you to:

– Be present: to focus on the here and now
– Listen to what has heart and meaning: to cut through to what is really important
– Speak your truth: to ask for what you need
– Be open to the outcome: whatever that might be

These four simple, yet profound, principles have been honoured by indigenous people around the world for centuries as the cornerstone to a balanced and healthy approach to life. I work with them now to bring you personally tailored support for a natural pregnancy and birth.
