About Me

Hi, my name is Kim. I am mum of two children born 2004 and 2006. I found my first birth quite a traumatic birthing experience so when it came to having my second child, I decided that being in a calm, safe environment with a caring and dedicated care team was the way forward, and subsequently had such a different experience. I had the birth I desired and most importantly I felt truly supported. Because of my own experiences with pregnancy and birth, I feel passionate about providing unconditional support to other families through what is one of the most life changing and pivotal experiences in their lives. I am offer hands on practical support once your baby has arrived as you navigate your way as either first time parents or managing more than one child. I know from personal experience how very isolating it can be when your life has changed so drastically. Once family and friends return to work and their everyday lives, it can be hugely beneficial to have an experienced woman that you can count on to offer unconditional support whilst you find your feet as a parent. After all, every parent definitely deserves a helping hand during those early days. In addition to my role as a Doula, I am also a qualified early years music practitioner and certified infant massage instructor. I have been delivering pre-school music and baby massage courses over the past 10 years and have built up great rapport with my families and their children. My ethos is to offer comfort and support to families with absolutely no judgement. I encourage all my clients to believe in their own abilities and to support them with whatever choices they make for themselves and their families. I look forward to hearing from you Kim x
