A new life brings new beginings for the whole family. It is a moment of transition and It can be smoother/easier with support and care.
I offer a first free interview where we can talk about the service and to see if we could work together.
If we decide to work together, I offer one initial session (ideally during pregnancy) where we talk about postnatal plan/intentions, expectations, worries and joys.
Once the baby is with us, I offer support and reassurance at your own home. This service is tailored to your needs. I am happy to actively listen to your birth story, to listen to what is present for you in the moment. I am willing to support you to follow your inner guidance and to choose what is right for your family. At your home I am happy to rock your baby, to do light household chores, to cook or whatever is needed for you to feel comfortable, supported, seen and loved.

About Me
Hello!
I am a postnatal doula and I support parents with newborn babies.
I tailor my help around your needs. I can offer you emotional support and reassurace. Also I can offer practical support like baby care, feeding support, light housework, looking after older children and cooking. Ultimately, I will aim to leave you rested and confident.
I am a good listener and a calm person who enjoys caring. I can provide information/links about doubts or questions that may arise. I will encourage you to follow your instincts and to decide what is the best for you and your family. I work with the basis that you are the best mother/ father of your son/daughter and I am there to remind you if you forget.
Why have I decided this path in my life? Because I feel it’s a gift to be in touch with the miracle of life and those precious early days and weeks. It is the foundation of life, where all starts. Also because women need the support of each other, sometimes we give support and other times we need to be supported and I think is wonderful to honor it and respect these natural waves of giving and receiving.
I started my doula journey in 2014 with Liliana Lammers and Michel Odent (obstetrician who pioneered water births in the 1960’s and who continues to be a world authority on birth and birthing practises). Also with with Kate Woods (who has 20 years of expereince as a Doula). I attended a breastfeeding study day with Indira Lopez-Bassols (she has a Master in breastfeeding and she is working in the Kings College Hospital with many years of study and experience). I also did a Understanding newborn course with Victoria Greenly (an experienced doula, qualified infant feeding counsellor). I loved them all I am looking forward to expand my knowledge and experience! I also have a teaching qualification specialized in early years education (Level 4 NVQ) and lots of experience.
I look forward to support you in the start of your parenthood journey!
