About Me

My name is Sara. I am a mom of 2. I started my journey as a birthkeeper after giving birth to my daughter at home, in what was a safe and healing birth for us both. I believe women and birthing people deserve to give birth on their terms and to feel in control. I believe in supporting you to feel safe and heard wherever and however you choose to give birth, and in accompanying you to make your own informed decisions about your care through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. I will support you to work through your fears, any previous traumatic experiences, explore what birth is and how best to prepare for such an important and transforming experience for you, your baby and your family. I will encourage you to approach this period holistically, working with your partner and helping you gather a circle of support so you feel nurtured, loved and held.
