About Me
Hello my name is Sharon, firstly I would like to congratulate you and am pleased that you are thinking of having a Doula to support you/partner on your journey into parenthood.
I believe that your body knows exactly what to do, it is designed to give birth and when a woman has support and knowledge she is able to feel empowered and able to make informed choices. I believe her birth will be a positive experience, whether you decide or need interventions, I will be at your side every step of the way both physically and emotionally. I feel that every woman needs another woman for support. It is my aim to make you, as my client feel empowered and safe.
A little about myself; I am a mentored birth and postnatal Doula and live in Hockley, Essex. I am a mother of four grown up children and have four wonderful grandchildren. I was privileged to be able to support my daughters and their partners through each of their pregnancies and births, each one a wonderful unique experience and I know how important it is for a woman to feel totally supported during this time.
I will be there for you whether you wish for me to sit and hold your hand, breathe with you, walk with you – YOUR LABOUR, YOUR CHOICE
